While the above data does not support our claim that cybercriminals are moving to Telegram, it is
interesting to look at what is happening in the first two months of 2023. As seen in Graph 7, the
number of posts published on Telegram in the first two months of 2023 (94,047), surpassed the
number of posts published in all of 2022 (88,569), and is substantially higher than the number of posts
published in the first two months of 2023 on Dark Web platforms (27,941).
