This shows an increasing reliance on data science and automation to enable investigators and analysts to become more effective. Most organizations seem to understand that they need a greater number of data scientists in order to arrange the data and gather insights to support investigators with intelligent decision making. This is even more important than the number of investigators itself, as the investigators need the support of analysts who can translate the raw data to support them in their critical role.
