5.4 Automated Workflows
NEXYTE provides the ability to create automated workflows to support decision-making in the context
of investigations and risk management. This enables automation of system actions according to
predefined rules and triggers.
NEXYTE supports customization of the workflows for the specific working methods and conventions
of a government organization. Workflows increase the speed and efficiency of analysts and
investigators by automating manual tasks which need to be performed in order to make decisions
faster and more accurately. Workflows automatically surface relevant information to the user,
thereby removing the need for them to proactively search the data.
Each customized workflow can be saved as template for usage by different stakeholders. NEXYTE’s
offering for different government verticals (such as Customs, Financial Crime, Tax, etc.) contains out
of the box blueprints and templates of workflows which support the typical tasks and decision-making
processes for analysts and investigators.
To illustrate, a workflow can be created that if another agency if a foreign national on a sanctions
backlist enters the country, the system will automatically check whether that suspect has links to
known suspects in the country, an alert will be sent to a human user to review the incident and open
an investigation if needed.

5.5 Report Templates
Users can leverage NEXYTE’s report templates to summarize decisions, key criteria used in the decision
and publish investigation findings. NEXYTE offers various predefined report templates with areas for
display of research information, images, abstract, insights, connections, leads, etc.
Report templates allow users to easily to collect and summarize critical information to share with
colleagues, management, or other units, and enable senior analysts and/or administrators to track the
progress and status of ongoing investigations or risk management activities.
