NEXYTE product description Page 2 5.1.3 Self-Service BI In addition to NEXYTE’s out of the box dashboards, individual users of the system have the ability to build and add their own dashboards and the widgets within, in order to support the critical decisions they need to make. This allows users, including non-technical analysts and investigators, to be self-sufficient. Dashboard configuration does not require coding or technical expertise and is done in an intuitive user interface. Users can select on which dataset the widget will be applied, which calculations or statistics will be calculated, and which visualization type will be used to present the data, for example pie chart, line graph, etc. For example: Comparison of KPIs (e.g., customs seizure rates, number of cases resolved etc.) over various time frames Top communicators Users can share widgets they have built with other NEXYTE users for use in their own dashboards, which enables more effective information sharing and collaborative decision-making. 5.2 Intelligence Rules NEXYTE provides a mechanism for defining automatic intelligence rules. Intelligence rules are a set of predefined conditions defined by the user to automatically trigger a specific action, or a sequence of actions, in the system when these conditions are met. This is an ‘if-then’ mechanism that can be tailored to cover a variety of scenarios. Individual users can define intelligence rules independently using an intuitive interface, based on a set of risk factors and suspicious indicators relevant to their work and investigations. In addition, administrators can define intelligence rules for use by any user of the system organization-wide. Based on the intelligence rules defined, the system will automatically perform a wide variety of defined system actions, such as: Tagging entities Sending alerts to human user(s) for follow-up action Creating a new case insight Presenting the relevant data set in a pre-defined dashboard Sending recommendations for decisions - such as a collection request required in order to fill intelligence gaps or deploying security resources and personnel to areas defined as high-crime And many more The system will automatically perform the defined steps until the point at which human intervention is needed, thus automating and speeding up manual, low-value analyst work and decision flow processes.
