NEXYTE Product Description Page 6 + Locations: Map presents the locations of the collected data on a map + Top Textual Extracted Entities 5.1.1 Timeline The Timeline presents a visualized time-related presentation of interactions between entities, based on the system data sources related to the entity. These can be bank transactions, meetings, correspondence between entities – any transaction that contains a timestamp. The timeline visualization allows the user to view activities that occur periodically at the same time and place, detect patterns or routines, and discern anomalies in these patterns. Having detected a pattern, any activity that breaks this pattern triggers a system alert that informs the user of the exception. Visualization supports two modes of investigation: + Trend mapping heat map provides an overview of trends in a particular place and time, for example, criminal activity in a specific neighborhood within a defined timeframe. The visualized display allows to quickly identify areas of greater interest or concern and focus subsequent drill-down steps in these sections. + Entity-based timeline analysis allows to view the development of an entity’s relations over time. A grid-like display maps lines and nodes between the investigated entity and related entities. The grid quickly surfaces recurring patterns of interaction, new links or a change in specific activities. Events are color coded to indicate different types of activities, with icons that indicate a specific subtype of activity. Numbers indicate an aggregation of similar activities.
