The system's data modeling and extraction tools ensure the customer gains a data pool that best
serves the organization’s entity profiling and insight extraction purposes.
The data ingestion layer is managed by NEXYTE’s Dynamic Data Model (DDM). The DDM converts
all mapped data into a uniform structure to create meaningful analysis-ready entity information.
Automated data modeling eliminates the time- and resource-consuming process of researching
multiple data sources and manually combining the output of each individual source type.
The DDM is a flexible customer-oriented model offering interfaces and tools for independent setup
of the modeling structure by the customer or his IT representative. Ingestion services are tailored
by the customer organization according to customer data sources and intelligence objectives. The
customer organization defines the data modeling rules which are then applied by the customer’s
professionals to the system data. A series of APIs provided by NEXTYE provide an interface with the
different data sources. NEXYTE’s knowledge center and certification academy provide all necessary
know-how to apply the tools according to best intelligence practices and verify that quality
intelligence is extracted.
The DDM ingestion flow is based on entity definition:
+ Entity setup. All structured and un-structured data is transformed into logical entities that
offer investigation-ready meaning, such as person, vehicle, event, organization and site,
and the type of relations between them (e.g., a car entity is “owned by” a person entity).
+ Entity relations. Entities are linked to each other by their real-life relationships, such as:
common ownership (of property or equipment), human relationships (family, friends,
colleagues), between persons and events (participation in same activities) etc. This is a
critical step in transforming multi-sourced data into a unified intelligence picture.
+ Entity workflow. The AI, ML and processing flow determines the type of analytics that are
applied to each entity, determining the type of intelligence that can be extracted from it.
