The top challenge organizations are facing is the sheer volume of the data (62%). Unstructured text records is the 4 th most prevalent challenge (37%). Looking at how big of a challenge this is by how many data sources are needed for data fusion (figure 2), we see that even those with just 2-4 data sources see this as a large challenge. This indicates the importance of automatic data fusion, offering organizations a more efficient way to process and extract insights from their data.
